Therapists and Providers

Find the Therapist or Provider that is right for you

Our Trained Team is Here to Help You!

All of our therapists and providers are well trained and experienced. Many of our therapists have backgrounds in medical settings. We value continuing education and ongoing learning. We are constantly sharing tips and tricks with each other so we all continue to grow as therapists. Your education is important to us too. It is not uncommon to see therapists demonstrating stretches or suggesting resources to clients during or after a session.

Providers for Specialized Treatments

Grace Ganel, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., AcuDetox Specialist, Certified Zero Balancer

I am a licensed acupuncturist in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. I have a Masters in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. I hold a certificate in Zero Balancing from the International Alliance of Healthcare Educators, and I am also a certified acudetox specialist through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association and I am a certified Diplomate of Acupuncture with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

My philosophy of healing is that all people are whole and complete, and treatment should aim to remind them of this truth. I want to help you learn to listen to your symptoms, because they are teachers, requests, and invitations into fuller health. Rather than covering them up, I want to help you learn their language so you can offer your body, mind, and spirit true healing.

One-on-One Acupuncture: Ancient, Holistic, Effective
I practice several styles of acupuncture, including five-element acupuncture, palpation-based Japanese acupuncture, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I blend these styles to suit the needs of each individual client, using some needle-free and Zero Balancing bodywork techniques in most acupuncture sessions. Each appointment has a flat price.

Needle-Free Chinese Medicine Techniques
From acupressure to cupping, I love supporting people using all the tools of hands-on Chinese and Japanese medicine. When I work with you, we will discuss your particular needs and case. We will work together to provide you with the treatment plan that is right for you during each session - whether that includes needles or not.

Zero Balancing: Bodywork that goes bone-deep
Zero Balancing (ZB) blends the theories of osteopathy and acupuncture. Dr. Fritz Smith developed ZB in the 1970's to promote order where the body is storing chaotic energy. During a ZB, the client remains fully clothed and face-up for the duration of the session, while the Zero Balancer gently pushes or pulls skeletal structures. ZB feels fantastic and is a safe and relaxing experience for people of all ages. Learn more about ZB at
